This patient is a 49 year old mother who was in excelent shape but had lost her abdominal skin tone and lost the definition of her toned muscles. She also wanted a more narrow and streamlined waist.

On examination, she had poor skin tone with thinning of her dermis and excess abdominal skin. She had a full abdominoplasty with tightening of her rectus muscles. I narrowed her waistline with repositioning her oblique muscles and liposuctioning her waist.

She went home the same day and had an unremarkable recovery. She returned to the gym in 5 weeks and feels much better about her abdominal appearance.
