This patient is a 22 year old healthy female who presented for a rhinoplasty. She felt her nose did not have enough definition and shape. She wanted her nose to fit her face better. Her goal was a natural looking nose that was in harmony with the rest of her facial features.

After discussing her options, looking at before and after photographs and using digital imaging, we decided to proceed with a closed rhinoplasty approach.

Through a closed rhinoplasty approach, I shaped and narrowed her nasal dorsum by a combination of dorsal reduction and osteotomies. I also reshaped her nasal tip to narrow and reduce the vertical tip height. Care was taken not to over-rotate her nose.

She had a smooth recovery without issues or complications. Once the swelling had subsided, she felt her nose fit her face well and that we had achieved our goals. She was pleased with her rhinoplasty results.
